Sweat pours over my body, a waterfall
Of hard labor, of strong limbs and camaraderie.
I raise rocks for hardworking cities, for
Bustling metropolises filled to the brim
With ambition and laziness and sin.
Steel and muscle and photosynthesis labor tirelessly
All contributing to the greater good
All have something to give.
Unconditional love hovers
With the celestial bodies over the earth
Spinning in unity and spraying stars
Through the atmosphere or beyond.
When threatened they will take up arms
Of hope and joy and laughter
Settling like a comfortable haze over an unbroken battleground.
One day soon, the battles will be done,
And a million people will drop their rocks to the ground.
